# See what fits in your AI usage limit

Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) limits how much AI work you can do, in a usage window that resets every 5 hours and a weekly limit. Notebook Clipper adds a section to Gemini Notebook’s usage dialog that shows how many items of each Studio format still fit in that limit. It works on personal Google accounts, free or with Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra. It doesn’t work on work or school accounts: Google gives them a daily limit per feature instead, so their settings menu has no Usage option.

## See what still fits

1. **Click the gear icon at the top right, then Usage**
The gear icon opens Gemini Notebook’s settings menu, on the home page and in every notebook.
2. **Read the counts under the usage bars**
Each tile shows one Studio format, what one item costs, and how many still fit. A format marked Later can only be queued with Generate later until usage resets. Once the limit is reached, the section shows how many fit after the reset.
