# Notebook Clipper > The Chrome extension that saves web pages, PDFs, YouTube videos, and tweets directly into Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM). Turn your browsing into a structured research library. # Getting started Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs Notebook Clipper is a Chrome extension that adds web pages, YouTube videos, AI chats and more to Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM), and brings your notebooks into the Notebook Clipper app. It uses the Google account you are signed in with in your browser. Setting it up takes three steps. ## Set up Notebook Clipper 1. **Add Notebook Clipper to Chrome** Open the [Chrome Web Store listing](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/web-clipper-for-notebookl/ancgeemmgnlempppapnfkdpghghphgjb) and click Add to Chrome, then Add extension. It is free. 2. **Pin it to the toolbar** Click the puzzle-piece icon in your browser’s toolbar, then the pin next to Notebook Clipper. The icon opens the side panel from any page. 3. **Sign in to Gemini Notebook in your browser** Open Gemini Notebook and sign in with your Google account. Notebook Clipper uses that account; there is no separate account to create. ## Find your guide The guides are organised by where you are when you use Notebook Clipper. - [On the web](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web.md): The side panel on any page, and the buttons on YouTube, X, Reddit, the AI chats, PDFs and Google Docs. - [Inside Gemini Notebook](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook.md): The toolbar Notebook Clipper adds to your notebook: exports, saved prompts, Drive sync, bulk delete, duplicate and merge. - [In the Notebook Clipper app](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/app.md): Every notebook, source and artifact in one place, collections, search, and your podcasts. # On the web Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web Most of what you read for a project is scattered across your browser: an article, a video, a thread, a chat with an AI, a PDF, a shared doc. Notebook Clipper puts any of them in a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as sources, so you can ask questions across everything you gathered instead of hunting through tabs. Every page can be added from the side panel; on YouTube, X, Reddit, the AI chats, PDFs and Google Docs there is also a button next to the site’s own controls. The guides are grouped by site. ## Any web page Add any web page as a source, straight from the side panel. - [Add a web page](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web/add-web-page.md) ## YouTube Add single videos, Shorts, playlists or entire channels. - [Add a YouTube video](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video.md) - [Add a YouTube Short](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-short.md) - [Add a YouTube playlist](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-playlist.md) - [Add a YouTube channel](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel.md) ## X (formerly Twitter) Add posts, threads and articles, your bookmarks and likes, or posts you select from any feed. - [Add an X post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post.md) - [Add an X article](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-article.md) - [Add your X bookmarks](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-bookmarks.md) - [Add your X likes](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-likes.md) - [Add an X author’s articles](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-author-articles.md) - [Select posts from a feed](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/select-x-posts.md) ## Reddit Add a post together with the comment thread underneath. - [Add a Reddit post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/reddit/add-reddit-post.md) ## AI chats Add conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Grok. - [Add a whole conversation](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-conversation.md) - [Add a single answer](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-answer.md) - [Update a conversation you already added](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/update-conversation.md) ## Google Docs, Sheets and Slides Add a document open in Google Docs, Sheets or Slides as a Google Drive source. - [Add a Google Doc, Sheet or Slides deck](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/google-docs/add-google-doc.md) ## PDFs Add any PDF open in your browser, including arXiv papers. - [Add a PDF](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/pdf/add-pdf.md) ## Naver News Add a Korean news article straight from the article page. - [Add a Naver News article](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/naver-news/add-naver-news-article.md) ## note.com Add a note.com article straight from the article page. - [Add a note.com article](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/note/add-note-post.md) # Add a web page Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web/add-web-page The side panel adds the page you are on to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source, by its address. Gemini Notebook reads the page from that address, so it must be reachable without signing in. Browser pages and local files cannot be added. ## Add the page 1. **Open the side panel on the Clip tab** Click the Notebook Clipper icon in your browser’s toolbar. The panel shows the page under Current Tab, with its title and address. 2. **Select a notebook** A notebook is already selected at the top of the panel. Pick another one if you want, or click Create a notebook. 3. **Click Add to Notebook** The page is added as a source. Open the notebook in Gemini Notebook to see it. ## Related - [Add a YouTube video](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video.md) - [Add an X post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post.md) # YouTube Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube On YouTube, the videos you learn from pile up faster than you can take notes: a lecture you want to quote, a playlist you are working through, a channel whose every upload matters. Notebook Clipper puts them in a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as sources, transcript included, so you can ask questions across a whole playlist and cite the exact video. Watch pages, Shorts, playlists and channels each have an Add to Gemini Notebook button, and the side panel recognises the same pages. Videos already in a notebook are never added twice. ## Guides There is one guide for each kind of YouTube page, and each covers both the button on the page and the side panel. - [Add a YouTube video](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video.md): One video as one source, from the button under the video or from the side panel. - [Add a YouTube Short](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-short.md): A Short as one source, from the icon beside it or from the side panel. - [Add a YouTube playlist](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-playlist.md): Every video in a playlist, one source each, from the playlist page, the queue or the side panel. - [Add a YouTube channel](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel.md): A channel’s videos, one source each, from the channel page or from the side panel. # Add a YouTube video Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video Notebook Clipper adds a YouTube video to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source, transcript included. The video must be public or unlisted. ## Add the video There are two ways to add a video to Gemini Notebook. ### From the video page 1. **Click Add to Gemini Notebook under the video** The button sits between Like and Share. The Add to Notebook dialog opens. 2. **Select a notebook** Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. The video is added as soon as you select a notebook. ### From the side panel 1. **Open the side panel on the Clip tab** Click the Notebook Clipper icon in your browser’s toolbar. The panel follows your current tab: with a video page open, it shows the video under Current Tab. 2. **Select a notebook** A notebook is already selected at the top of the panel. Pick another one if you want, or click Create a notebook. 3. **Click Add to Notebook** The button is at the bottom of the panel. ## Related - [Add a YouTube playlist](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-playlist.md) - [Add a YouTube channel](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel.md) - [Add a YouTube Short](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-short.md) # Add a YouTube Short Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-short Notebook Clipper adds a YouTube Short to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source, the same way as a regular video, transcript included. The Short must be public or unlisted. ## Add the Short There are two ways to add a Short to Gemini Notebook. ### From the Short 1. **Click the Notebook Clipper icon next to the Short** The icon sits at the top of the action rail beside the Short, above Like. Pick another one if you want, or click Create a notebook. 3. **Click Add to Notebook** The button is at the bottom of the panel. ## Related - [Add a YouTube video](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video.md) - [Add a YouTube playlist](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-playlist.md) - [Add a YouTube channel](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel.md) # Add a YouTube playlist Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-playlist Notebook Clipper adds every video in a YouTube playlist to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM), one source per video, transcript included. Videos already in the notebook are skipped, so adding the same playlist to the same notebook again never creates duplicates. The playlist must be public or unlisted. ## Add the playlist There are three ways to add a playlist to Gemini Notebook. ### From the playlist page 1. **Click Add to Gemini Notebook in the playlist header** The button sits next to Play all, Save and Share. The extension first fetches every video in the playlist; a notification shows the progress, and long playlists take a while. The Add to Notebook dialog opens when it is done. 2. **Select a notebook** Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. If every new video fits, they are added right away and the dialog closes. 3. **Select the videos, if asked** If the playlist has more new videos than the notebook has room for, the dialog asks you to choose. Select the videos you want. 4. **Click Add to notebook** The button is at the bottom of the dialog. If everything fitted at step 2, the videos are already in and there is nothing to click. ### While watching a video 1. **Click the Notebook Clipper icon in the playlist queue** When the video belongs to a playlist, YouTube shows the queue beside the player, and the icon sits in its controls, right after Shuffle. Pick another one if you want, or click Create a notebook. 3. **Select the videos** The videos load by themselves; for a long playlist, click Load videos first. The newest videos are selected for you, as many as the notebook has room for; videos already in it stay unselected. Select or deselect videos to choose which ones to add. 4. **Click Add to notebook** The button is at the bottom of the panel. You can keep browsing while the videos are added. ## Related - [Add a YouTube channel](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel.md) - [Add a YouTube video](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-video.md) - [Add a YouTube Short](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-short.md) # Add a YouTube channel Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/youtube/add-youtube-channel Notebook Clipper adds the videos of a YouTube channel to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM), one source per video, transcript included. It reads the channel’s Videos, Shorts and Live tabs. Videos already in the notebook are skipped, so adding the same channel to the same notebook again never creates duplicates. The channel must be public. ## Add the channel There are two ways to add a channel to Gemini Notebook. ### From the channel page 1. **Click Add to Gemini Notebook in the channel header** The button sits after Subscribe. The extension first fetches every video in the channel; a notification shows the progress, and large channels take a while. Notebook Clipper puts them in a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as sources, with the author and the date kept, so you can ask questions across them and cite them. Posts and Articles have an Add to Gemini Notebook button on the page; the lists go through the side panel. ## Guides There is one guide for each thing you can add from X. - [Add an X post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post.md): A post, or the author’s full thread, from the button on the post or from the side panel. - [Add an X article](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-article.md): A long-form X Article with its full text, from the buttons on the article or from the side panel. - [Add your X bookmarks](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-bookmarks.md): Your whole bookmarks list, as one source per post or one combined source. - [Add your X likes](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-likes.md): Your whole likes list, as one source per post or one combined source. - [Add an X author’s articles](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-author-articles.md): Every article an author has published, from the Articles tab on their profile. - [Select posts from a feed](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/select-x-posts.md): Pick posts by hand on your timeline, a search, a list or a profile. Needs Pro. # Add an X post Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post Notebook Clipper adds an X (Twitter) post to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source: the author, the date and the text. Use it when you do not want everything the page holds: a few posts from your timeline, a search, a list or a profile; only the posts that matter from a long thread; or a handful of your bookmarks instead of the whole list. Selecting posts needs the Pro plan: the switch and the review list work without it, and the plan is checked when you click Add. ## Select the posts 1. **Open the side panel on a feed** Open your timeline, a search, a list or a profile, then click the Notebook Clipper icon in your browser’s toolbar. The panel shows a Select posts to clip switch under Current Tab. 2. **Select a notebook** A notebook is already selected at the top of the panel. The panel lists what you picked. 5. **Choose how to save them** Under Save as, choose Individual posts to add each post as its own source, or Single combined source to add them all as one. 6. **Click Add selected posts** The button at the bottom of the panel shows how many posts it will add. You can also click Add to Gemini Notebook in the bar at the bottom of the page: the Add to Notebook dialog opens, and the posts are added as soon as you select a notebook. ## Related - [Add an X post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post.md) - [Add your X bookmarks](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-bookmarks.md) - [Add your X likes](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-likes.md) - [Add an X author’s articles](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-author-articles.md) # Add a Reddit post Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/reddit/add-reddit-post Notebook Clipper adds a Reddit post to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source: the title, the author, the subreddit, the date and the text. You can include the top comment threads under it: the comments Reddit ranks best, with their replies two levels deep, and always the author’s own replies. An image or link post goes in as its title and link, without the media. ## Add the post There are two ways to add a post to Gemini Notebook. ### From the post 1. **Click Add to Gemini Notebook under the post** The icon sits at the end of the post’s action row, after Share. The Add to Notebook dialog opens. 2. **Select a notebook** Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. It adds the post as a source in Gemini Notebook. ## Related - [Add a web page](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web/add-web-page.md) - [Add an X post](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/x-twitter/add-x-post.md) # AI chats Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats The useful parts of an AI chat are easy to lose: a comparison you worked through with ChatGPT, a plan Claude drafted, a research thread in Perplexity with its sources, a Gemini answer you keep scrolling back to. Notebook Clipper adds them to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as sources, the whole conversation or one answer, and can replace a source when the conversation has grown since you added it. It works the same way on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek and Grok: a Gemini Notebook button in the conversation header, an icon under every answer, and the side panel. ## Guides There is one guide for each thing you can do with a conversation. - [Add a whole conversation](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-conversation.md): Every question and answer in a conversation as one source, from the button in the header or from the side panel. - [Add a single answer](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-answer.md): One answer as its own source, or added to the conversation’s source, from the icon under it. - [Update a conversation you already added](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/update-conversation.md): The current conversation in place of the source you added earlier, from the header button or the side panel. Pro. # Add a whole conversation Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-conversation Notebook Clipper adds a conversation with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek or Grok to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source: every question and answer, in order. When you add the same conversation again later, you choose whether it becomes a second source or replaces the first. ## Add the conversation There are two ways to add a conversation to Gemini Notebook. ### From the conversation 1. **Click Gemini Notebook in the header** The button sits in the conversation header, left of Share. On Gemini it sits left of the conversation menu. The Add to Notebook dialog opens. 2. **Select a notebook** Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. 3. **Choose how to save it** The dialog asks how you would like to save this. Choose one: Save as a new source adds a source and leaves earlier ones untouched, while Update the existing source replaces the source from the last time you added this conversation. Then click Add to notebook. ### From the side panel 1. **Open the side panel on the Clip tab** Click the Notebook Clipper icon in your browser’s toolbar. The panel opens on the Clip tab and shows the conversation under Current Tab. 2. **Select a notebook** A notebook is already selected at the top of the panel. Pick another one if you want, or click Create a notebook. 3. **Choose how to save it** Under the conversation, choose Save as a new source or Update the existing source. 4. **Click Add to Notebook** The button sits under the two choices. ## Related - [Add a single answer](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-answer.md) - [Update a conversation you already added](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/update-conversation.md) - [Add a web page](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web/add-web-page.md) # Add a single answer Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-answer Notebook Clipper adds one answer from a conversation with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, DeepSeek or Grok to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM). The answer can be its own source, or join the source you already have for that conversation, so a notebook keeps one source per conversation with the answers you picked. ## Add the answer 1. **Click Add to Gemini Notebook under the answer** The icon sits in the row of actions under the answer, next to Copy and Share. The Add to Notebook dialog opens. 2. **Select a notebook** Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. 3. **Choose how to save it** The dialog asks how you would like to save this. Choose one: Save as a new source adds the answer as its own source, while Update the existing source adds the answer to the source you already have for this conversation. Then click Add to notebook. ## Related - [Add a whole conversation](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/add-conversation.md) - [Update a conversation you already added](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/update-conversation.md) - [Add a web page](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/web/add-web-page.md) # Update a conversation you already added Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/ai-chats/update-conversation A conversation keeps going after you add it. Notebook Clipper can replace the source in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) with the current conversation instead of adding a second one, so a notebook keeps one source per conversation. Updating needs the Pro plan. ## Update the source There are two ways to update a conversation in Gemini Notebook. ### From the conversation 1. **Click Gemini Notebook in the header** The button sits in the conversation header, left of Share. On Gemini it sits left of the conversation menu. The Add to Notebook dialog opens. 2. **Select the notebook you added it to** Choose the notebook that holds the source you added earlier, in the Add to Notebook dialog. 3. **Choose Update the existing source** The dialog asks how you would like to save this. It goes in as a Google Drive source, the same kind you get by picking it from Drive inside the notebook, so nothing is exported or copied. Because the notebook reads it from Drive, the Google account you use with Gemini Notebook must be able to open it, and a document the notebook already has is not added twice. The button and the steps are the same in Docs, Sheets and Slides. ## Add the document There are two ways to add a document to Gemini Notebook. ### From the document 1. **Click Gemini Notebook in the title bar** The button sits left of Share, at the top right of the window. Notebook Clipper adds its controls for each of these to Gemini Notebook’s own panel headers, chat box and item menus, so you can do it without leaving the notebook. ## In the Sources panel Three icons at the right of the panel header, and one item in each source’s menu. - [Export your sources](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-sources.md): Every source as Markdown, plain text or PDF files, one file per source. - [Keep Google Drive sources in sync](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/sync-google-drive.md): Docs, Sheets and Slides sources refreshed after you edit them: one at a time, all at once, or every five minutes. - [Delete sources in bulk](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/delete-sources.md): Tick what goes and clear it in one pass. ## In the chat A slash icon in the chat box, a button under each answer, and an icon in the panel header. - [Save and reuse prompts](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/saved-prompts.md): Prompts saved to your Notebook Clipper account, inserted from the chat box with a slash. - [Save a chat as a source](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/save-chat-as-source.md): One answer or the whole chat as a source in any notebook, including this one. - [Export a chat](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-chat.md): Questions, answers and their sources as a PDF or Markdown file. ## In the Studio panel An icon at the right of the panel header, and extra formats in each item’s menu. - [Export an artifact](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-artifact.md): Mind maps, flashcards, quizzes, reports, notes, data tables and slide decks in the formats other tools read. - [Delete Studio content in bulk](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/delete-artifacts.md): Clear out the overviews, mind maps, reports and notes that piled up. ## On the home page One item in each collection’s menu, and an icon at the top right of the page. - [Duplicate a collection](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/duplicate-collection.md): A copy of a collection’s line-up, with the notebooks shared between the two. - [Hide featured notebooks](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/hide-featured-notebooks.md): Take the Featured notebooks shelf off the home page, and show it again when you want. # Export an artifact Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-artifact Notebook Clipper adds export formats that Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) does not offer itself to the menu of each item in a notebook’s Studio panel, so a mind map, a report, a quiz, flashcards, a data table or a slide deck can leave the notebook as a file you open in another app, in the formats the table below lists. ## Export the artifact 1. **Click More on the item in the Studio panel** More is the three-dot icon at the right of the item. The menu opens with the export formats above Gemini Notebook’s own items. 2. **Click the format** The file downloads in the format you picked, and the table below lists the supported formats for each item. ## Formats per item - **Mind map**: Obsidian (.canvas), FreeMind (.mm), OPML (.opml), Markdown (.md) - **Flashcards**: Anki (.tsv), Excel (.xlsx), JSON (.json) - **Quiz**: Anki (.tsv), Excel (.xlsx), JSON (.json) - **Report**: PDF (.pdf), Markdown (.md), Word (.docx) - **Note**: Word (.docx), Markdown (.md) - **Data table**: Excel (.xlsx), Markdown (.md) - **Slide deck**: Images (.zip, one PNG per slide) For Anki, import the .tsv file with File, Import, fields separated by Tab, field 1 as Front and field 2 as Back. ## Related - [Export your sources](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-sources.md) - [Export a chat](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-chat.md) # Export your sources Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/export-sources Notebook Clipper lets you export the sources of a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as files: the text Gemini Notebook extracted from each source, as Markdown, plain text or PDF. A single source downloads as one file, while several download together as a ZIP named after the notebook, with one file per source inside. Sources that are still processing or that failed are left out of the download. ## Export the sources 1. **Click Export Sources in the Sources panel header** The button sits between the Google Drive sync icon and the trash icon at the right of the panel header, and shows Export Sources when you hover it. Clicking it opens the Export Sources dialog with every source already selected. 2. **Select the sources, then click Next** Untick the sources you do not want, using the search field and the type filter to narrow the list, while the checkbox in the header selects or clears everything the list currently shows. 3. **Choose a format, then click Export** Markdown (.md), Plain Text (.txt) or PDF (.pdf). The prompts are saved to your Notebook Clipper account, so they follow you to every browser you sign in on. ## Save a prompt 1. **Open the Saved prompts menu left of the chat box** It is the slash icon at the left end of the chat box. Typing / in the empty box opens the same list. 2. **Click Create new prompt** The Saved prompts dialog opens on a new prompt. 3. **Enter the prompt, then click Save prompt** The name is optional but the prompt text is required. You can sync one source from its menu, sync every Drive source at once from the Sources panel header, or turn on auto-sync, which refreshes them every five minutes while the notebook is open. Syncing needs Editor access to the document. ## Sync one source 1. **Click More on the source, then Sync with Google Drive** More is the three-dot icon that shows when you rest the pointer on a source in the Sources panel, and Sync with Google Drive is its first item. The source is refreshed from the document in Drive, or left as it is when it was already up to date. ## Sync every Drive source 1. **Click Sync with Google Drive in the Sources panel header** It is the first of the three icons at the right of the panel header. A notebook can be in several collections, and deleting a collection removes the grouping only, while the notebooks stay. ## Create a collection 1. **Open the app on Collections** In the Notebook Clipper app, click Collections in the sidebar. 2. **Click New collection** The button is at the top right of the page. 3. **Enter a name, then click Create** Type a name that says what the collection gathers, a research topic, a course or a project, then click Create. The new collection opens empty, ready for its first notebooks. ## Add notebooks to a collection 1. **Open the collection, then click Add notebooks** A panel opens at the right listing the notebooks you can add. 2. **Click Add on each notebook** It is the plus icon at the right end of the row, and the notebook joins the collection at once. Remove from collection, in a notebook’s row on the collection page, takes it out again. ## Rename or delete a collection 1. **Click More on the collection’s row, then Rename or Delete** More is the three-dot icon at the right end of the row on the Collections page, and the same menu is at the top right of the collection’s own page. Delete asks you to confirm. ## Related - [Duplicate a collection](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/notebook/duplicate-collection.md) - [Manage your notebooks](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/app/manage-notebooks.md) - [Search across every notebook](https://notebookclipper.com/docs/app/search.md) # Podcasts Source: https://notebookclipper.com/docs/app/podcasts An Audio Overview is worth listening to on the way somewhere, and a podcast app is where you already listen.
