Add a YouTube Short

Notebook Clipper adds a YouTube Short to a notebook in Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) as one source, the same way as a regular video, transcript included. The Short must be public or unlisted.

Add the Short

There are two ways to add a Short to Gemini Notebook.

  1. Click the Notebook Clipper icon next to the Short

    The icon sits at the top of the action rail beside the Short, above Like. The Add to Notebook dialog opens.

    Click the Notebook Clipper icon next to the Short

  2. Select a notebook

    Choose a notebook in the Add to Notebook dialog, or click New notebook to create one. The Short is added as soon as you select a notebook.
